Amparo Polo

Amparo Polo has been Head of Digital Strategy at Expansion since November 2020. In this role, she coordinates Expansion.com and the new formats launched by the newspaper, such as podcasts, newsletters, social media, videos and the new storytelling lab ExpansionLab.

Previously, she was a correspondent in London (2008-2020), where she covered the financial crisis, the Scottish independence referendum and the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the European Union (Brexit).

Although almost all her career has been at Expansion, she has also worked at Actualidad Economica, Heraldo de Aragon and Cadena SER.

She holds a degree in Information Sciences from the University of Navarra and an Executive MBA from IE. She has three children.
