Roberto Casado

Roberto Casado Belzunce is editor-in-chief and economic correspondent at Expansion, specialized in mergers and acquisitions, international markets and corporate governance. He is the author of the weekly newsletter M&A Direct, aimed at Expansion Premium subscribers.
He joined the newspaper in 1994, and after a period in the Madrid newsroom moved in 2007 to become correspondent in London, where he remained until 2020, covering everything from the financial crisis to Brexit.
He holds a degree in Information Sciences from the University of Navarra and an Executive MBA from IE Business School.
